Canon XF305 / XF300 camcorder training
A day to introduce you to Canon's newest camcorders. Now approved for full broadcast use by the BBC, these cameras are already being described as the new industry standard for location and ENG productions.

Video editing for Photographers
Richard Atherton, is not your typical trainer; bright humorous and an Apple Master Trainer, you will not have a problem remembering what you have been taught. This one day course will introduce you to the basics of video editing and how to set up your system. The training is 'cross platform' for Final Cut, Premiere CS5 and Avid, ie you will learn effectively to edit whatever software or computer platform you use.
We can also provide advanced training for you, or your organisation by request.

Teaching stills photographers and imaging professionals the key skills needed to plan, film and edit professional video and film projects

Professional Audio for moving image
Teaching the key skills necessary to record professional audio and foley for video projects.
Covering types of recorder and microphone, how to set up the equipment and optimal recording techniques.

Final Cut Studio
Our favourite trainer, Richard Atherton, is one of the few certified Apple Master Trainers in the UK as well as being one of the small cadre of Specialist trainers for the BBC across the UK and Europe.
He is able to provide training to certification level on all components in the Final Cut Studio Suite including:

One of the recent projects for The Image Consultancy was to prepare internal training for Canon Europe, so we have have a broad and detailed knowledge of the Canon product range. This course is aimed at Amateur and Semi-Pro photographers who want to be able to get the best from their EOS camera systems.
We will cover in detail cameras, lenses and Canon's impressive EX flash products to extend and enhance your familiarity with your tools, giving you the confidence to use them in any situation.
